We currently have a job opening for a Structural (Buildings) Engineer-in-Training in our Vancouver office to join our growing team.
As the ideal candidate, you are an excellent communicator with effective organizational and technical potential, who thrives in a dynamic work environment. Your abilities will be strengthened and grown through a variety range of project delivery types, material selections, and sectors. You will also have the opportunity to develop a career path focused on technical leadership, project management, client management, or a combination based on your career aspirations and qualifications.
• Undergraduate degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university. • Registered, or eligible for registration, as an Engineer-in-Training with EGBC. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting engineering is an asset. • Familiar with structural analysis programs such as SAP 2000 or equivalent. • Working knowledge of local building codes and Canadian design standards. • Ability to read, interpret and create drawings and specifications. • Ability to compose technical memorandum and technical report with minimal supervision. • Committed team player and the ability to work independently. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Good interpersonal and organizational skills. • General knowledge of construction methods and project delivery processes. • Site experience is an asset.

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 and is commensurate with experience relative to this position.
